Mia's Second Birthday

Every time Mia opened a gift she wanted to play with it immediately and then I would try and get her to go to the next gift and she would just put the next gift away and say, "no mommy, not now."

Mia had a wonderful second birthday despite being sick and having a fever. We just family over for a small party which is what Mia likes just something small and not overwhelming. She got her first bitty baby and all the accessories (as you can see she is fascinated that the baby's eyes open and close). She also got a dollhouse and huge set of littlest pet shop which she adores. She can play for hours with them. I cannot believe my sweet girl is 2 but yet she seems so much older than Tyler did at this age. She talks non-stop and loves to sing.

I love pigtails on little girls but I am so bad at putting them in. I need to take a class in how to do your little girl's hair.

Pumpkin Pie

We took the kids out to the barn where my friend keeps her horses and the kids had a blast. Even Mia had no fear whatsoever They will never think about a "pony ride" in the same way. The pony's name was Pumpkin Pie. Tyler even got to trot all by himself. The whole time I could just Mike outwardly smiling and inwardly cringing with how much they were enjoying it. One puppy, two cats, two kids, we don't really need a horse at the moment but oh so much fun!
